What is a “Murder Book”?

“Murder book” is a term used by detectives to refer to a case file on a homicide investigation. Murder books typically include crime scene photographs and sketches, autopsy and forensic reports, transcripts of investigator’s notes and witness interviews. They chronicle the life of a case from the time the murder is reported until an arrest is made.

About Me:

I’ve been creating comics in one form or another since the early 90s. In 2005, I started the small press publishing outfit, New Reliable Press and managed to publish eight books before putting it to rest in favour of working on my own projects.

I’m also a freelance comic book letterer, having worked for a myriad of publishers from Image to Random House to Douglas & McIntyre. If you’re looking for a letterer, drop me a line. I’m always up for paying lettering work (it’s what funds this site).

I’m always on the search for artists who might want to work on one of my scripts for Murder Book. If that might be you, please feel free to drop me a line.
